Last week I was lucky enough to visit Miami for the ArtPlace Creative Placemaking Summit. While I’ve been to Miami before, on this trip I was particularly charmed by the colorful cacophony happening in its public spaces, from the Art Deco geometry of South Beach hotels to the street art layering the warehouses in Wynwood. From the sunrises to the sidewalks, somehow it all seemed to be coordinated from the same palette.
