The Gelatobaby store

Gelatobaby Patch:

I recently began making prototype Gelatobaby Patches for friends and readers (see more here), and now I’m ready to enter full-scale production. The made-to-order cones are hand and machine-stitched to canvas backings, complete with fusing for easy iron-on. Each Gelatobaby Patch is made from scraps of vintage fabric including at least one piece snipped from clothing I’ve outgrown from eating too much gelato. Please place your order by email, making sure to tell me which flavors you’d like on your cone, and I’ll give you a quote.

Or perhaps you’d like this pair of buttons designed by Citizen Scholar, which are being modeled here by the lovely Pam Williams. This was part of an event I did with Williams & House and Citizen Scholar at the Academy of Art called Spring Show with Gelatobaby (close up shot here as well). I’ll be happy to send you a set of these for free if you drop me an email. SOLD OUT!

Spoons

These are my business cards, which can also be ordered by you, free of charge. Just drop me an email with your mailing address and be sure to specify if you’d like blueberry, pistachio, strawberry, lemon sorbet, or a random selection of four spoons, hand-picked by me. SOLD OUT!

Great article about the new food policy in LA. Wanted to let you know that we produced a healthy food in Mich. for 9 1/2 years and would like to find people to make it as a small business preferably as a worker owned coop that once established probably could be franchised across the country.

very inspiring…wish I had been as thoughtful when I was your age, but, alas, it’s never too late. Your vision adds more support for the sign on my desk that reads “These Are The Good Old Days”……
